The Henrico County Police Division in Virginia is investigating an incident of vandalism at India K'Raja Restaurant, where the owner, Tony Sappal, discovered hateful messages and racist slurs spray-painted on the building. Sappal, who has owned the restaurant for 27 years, arrived at the business on the occasion of its 27th anniversary to find it defaced.

The vandalism included profane words and racial slurs sprayed on the side and back of the building, as well as the front door and glass windows. The wire to the outside speakers was also torn down. Henrico police believe the crime occurred between 5 and 7 p.m. on October 1. They stated that it is an isolated incident and not part of a larger trend.

Chief of Police Eric English expressed in a media release that acts of intimidation and hatred will not be tolerated in the community, and those responsible will face charges. Sappal, in response to the incident, wants to bring awareness to the hurt caused by such messages and reaffirms his commitment to continue doing what is right.

This incident of vandalism targeting India K'Raja Restaurant is concerning and highlights the issue of racial attacks.
