Bharatbhai Patel

In a disturbing incident that received little attention from mainstream media, an Indian American UberEats delivery man named Bharatbhai Patel was viciously attacked in New York City by an ex-convict. The assault took place on the Lower East Side, and despite being stabbed multiple times, Patel received no help from bystanders. The attacker, identified as Sean Cooper, made no demands for money and fled the scene after the assault.

Patel, who survived the attack and was treated at Bellevue Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, expressed his surprise at the incident. He recalled feeling pain but mentioned that he is now in a better condition. Shockingly, despite being surrounded by three individuals at the time of the attack, none of them came to his aid. Patel speculates that they may have been intoxicated, and he was left with no choice but to call 911 himself. He also noted the absence of police in the area during the incident, which he found unusual since they are usually present.

Cooper, a career criminal known to law enforcement as "super perp," was later apprehended and charged with assault. His criminal record includes recent arrests on charges of grand larceny and petit larceny. The incident underscores the urgent need for attention to racial attacks and the responsibility of mainstream media to provide adequate coverage. Patel's experience highlights the alarming reality faced by minority communities and the importance of addressing and condemning such acts of violence.
